The Push Me, Pull You Conundrum ~ 12 Sep 2024

Pluto, who still holds planetary status by those ever enduring one of his transits, travels back into Capricorn for one last arid, creaky look. He’ll make his final ingress into Aquarius on 19 November. Will this mark the beginning of the Age of Aquarius? This is Pluto and as such, that’s very unlikely. Not to mention that the whole precession factor that notes the technical Age of Aquarius remains more than three centuries away.

Notably, as Jupiter retrogrades on 9 October in Gemini, Pluto turns direct on 12 October. Given their kinship as brothers, it would appear as if an invite to their family reunion was received, but it was entirely unclear if attendance is warranted, demanded or even wanted by the cosmic bros. While it may feel that Jupiter’s exuberant pitchfest in Gemini has dissipated, this is the time when the more subtle forces behind the recent pitches of/in life to which a person responded can be accurately perceived. This may be a matter of culling out the “too good to be true” opportunities and to consider that those others extending helping hands have a clear interest in the unfoldment of the circumstances in play.

It’s time to listen for subtler clues, to perceive subtext and then to decide this is the path of life to be chosen, followed and persisted upon, no matter what. It’s about resources. It’s about fixing fiscal status in life and it’s about monetizing those things that do good for all. Pluto scoffs at assigning tangible value to those things that fail to produce soulful gains for those using them. He is not a fan of all the apps one must have on your gizmo to be a “valued” shopper and save money, or to reach out to your local news team, or safely park your car.

For years astrologers have tracked the Super Galactic Center (ZS) the core of our local group of thirty plus galaxies, including ours. Also known as the Virgo Supercluster this hugely potent region of space will be directly engaged on 24 September shortly after the equinox by a transit of the Sun. A ten-day interval centered on the exact transit date focuses upon all matters ZS - specifically Libran matters or the context of any one-to-one relationship occurring between individuals with extended histories, relationships forming in the present, or those relationships yet to come. Simply put, the pull feels superlatively strong throughout the last ten days of the current month.

Back in the early days of astrological assessment, the core of the Virgo Supercluster (2 Libra 23 as of 1 January 2025) was perceived as a supermassive black hole that would have started out with the massiveness of something like 100 million times that of our Sun. Now, it is presumed that each of the primary galaxies in our local group (including ours) holds a black hole as their core. Stated with elegant Virgoan simplicity, there’s a lot of gravitational pull out there. And with the Sun, the largest body in our solar system aligning with ZS, primary conscious attention goes to all things relational and the pulls felt when encountering and engaging with other souls along the path of life.

Per black hole dynamics, their singularity (core) draws in everything. Resistance is futile. Once a black hole draws stuff or energy past its event horizon, it no longer attracts the matter drawn; it then ejects or repels it. The totem animal of this black hole effect is the Pushmi-Pullyu from Doctor Doolittle. A cross between a graceful, capricious gazelle and the mystical reality-defying unicorn, this creature represents contradiction, paradox, indecision and the inability to honor the wills of both parties in any mix while pursuing viable forward progress.

When encountering a compelling draw from another person, first notice how this attraction impacts your energy. Is the attraction breathtaking in a good way, or does it feel like the air is being crushed out of your lungs? Even more primally, how does this incoming energy impact the balance of your aura, energy and internal chakra flow? Do you need to step back as far as possible while maintaining decorum to readjust your aura, or must you retreat into your own space, reboot your energetic system and then re-engage? No correct answer here. It’s simply a matter of ensuring your soulful equilibrium is not disrupted by the energetic sway felt. No need to end up angsting over a battle of priorities agitated by a fear of missing out.

The essence of the solar transit to ZS suggests the ultimate in negotiations leading to a collaborative effort as the end game. The question is: can one be conciliatory in the midst of such negotiations and not compromise ones soulful causes?

Successful resolution need not depend upon what the other person wants. What the other person does should be noted. This sort of thing happens with screenwriters when negotiating with producers. A producer will proclaim, “Well you’re no Clyde Blazingwords, the guy we just paid three million clams for a script that likely will never be produced. You’re you.”

What this means is you should compare yourself to unreachable heights and overwhelming personalities in assessing what you can glean from any situation. The producer’s effort is to inspire invalid comparisons, shame and more, guilt for having the audacity to request anything in the interest of fair and equal exchange. The tactic is sadly effective.

With the Sun strolling up to the Virgo Supercluster, it is time to hone and perfect your self esteem, confidence in your skills and abilities and assure you know the value of your soul’s presence. Whether a business transaction, a personal relationship or aligning with others to save the world the best Pluto in Aquarius sanctions, the principle is solid. Get clear on yourself. Note what you want. Affirm that you will not negotiate beyond the threshold of what you truly need. Dive in, knowing yourself to be energetically intact, lead with the chakra that best suits the nature of the negotiation and give it all you’ve got.

Now should it become clear you’ve encountered one of those time-dilating, time-wasting individuals, attend to perceiving when you cross their event horizon. That’s the moment when the other party does not want you anymore. At that instant, instead of feeling the reject, fire your retro rockets to escape velocity thrust and allow yourself to be neatly ejected. Then, you’re gone. Do not look back. Do not regret the separation. Instead, notice the next incoming wave of positive and compelling opportunity. There’s support from Jupiter’s slowing to his station on the heels of this transit for this very aspect of life discernment.

Now for all you influencers out there contending with your natal Eris in Aries, use this transit to define your intended pull. What individuals does it serve you soul to influence? Other than a smiling “rec” or two, what energy do you intend to leave behind for them to savor and use as a tool of their personal evolution? Determine your demo. Feed it with no FOMO.

In case the time feels more than perplexing, astrological tools for unknotting life exist. A consultation, which includes the best of all lesser known astrological influences from dwarf planets to black holes and pulsars and superclusters, typically saves a heap of time... and angst. A series of consultations, even better. You can get one of those nifty Galactic Reports using six potent centaurs and an army of black holes to support your causes.
